Dates, Tickets, Location & Complete Travel Guide for Indians
Last updated: 28 September 2026. Dates, ticket status and entry rules can change at short notice, so check the official Tomorrowland site and Thailand’s immigration portal before you pay for anything.
Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 will be the first full-scale Tomorrowland ever held in Asia, happening on 11 to 13 December at Wisdom Valley near Pattaya. The bad news comes early, so let’s get it out of the way: official tickets are sold out. The better news is that “sold out” isn’t quite the end of the story, and even if you never land a pass, December is a lovely time to be in Thailand. What follows is what we know for certain, what we don’t, and how an Indian traveller can plan around it from Delhi.
Tomorrowland Thailand 2026: The Basics
The festival runs from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026, one three-day weekend. That’s shorter than the Belgian original, which stretches over two weekends. The venue is Wisdom Valley in Khao Mai Kaew, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi, a 237-acre patch of hills prepared for the occasion. Organisers are expecting around 50,000 people a day. WEAREONE.world runs it with the backing of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and this year’s overall theme is Consciencia. There is no camping. Everyone sleeps in hotels and gets shuttled in.
Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 Location: Where Is Wisdom Valley?
Not in Pattaya itself, which catches a few people out. The site sits inland in Chonburi province, about half an hour from Pattaya and somewhere between 90 minutes and two hours from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, depending on traffic. Pattaya is the obvious base if you’d rather stay close. Bangkok has many more hotels and gives you a proper city break, but you pay for that in commuting time, and the ride back after a late night is the part people underestimate.
With no campsite to wander back to, where you sleep and how you reach the gates matter more here than at most festivals.
Are Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 Tickets Still Available?
Not through normal sales. Hotel packages went on sale on 28 February and the worldwide sale followed on 7 March, and both were reported to have vanished very quickly. At launch there were four options: a Day Pass, a Full Madness Pass, a Comfort (VIP) Pass and a Full Madness Comfort Pass. Prices ranged from roughly THB 5,100 to THB 20,200, and the standard three-day Full Madness Pass sat at about THB 12,500. Official hotel packages, which bundled a room, a three-day pass and shuttle transfers, began at around THB 24,695.
Three routes are still legitimate. The first is the official waiting list, which you join through your Tomorrowland account by picking the pass or package you’d like. If something frees up, you may be emailed, possibly all the way up to the festival. It’s a chance, not a promise. The second is the official ticket exchange, which is how fans who can’t attend pass their tickets on safely. The third is simply watching Tomorrowland’s official website for any new release.
Everything outside those three is a gamble. When demand outruns supply this badly, fake listings turn up right behind it.
Lineup and What to Expect
The Consciencia theme ties Tomorrowland’s editions together worldwide, and the Asian debut is expected to run several stages, including Mainstage, CORE and Freedom. The lineup has been coming out in phases. Recent festival coverage mentions names like Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Alan Walker and ARTBAT, plus Thai artists. Lineups and set times move around, though, so trust the official lineup page over any list copied into a blog post, including this one.
Entry Rules for Indians: 30-Day Visa Exemption and TDAC
This is where older articles will steer you wrong, so read carefully.
From 15 September 2026, Indian ordinary passport holders can enter Thailand without a visa for tourism for up to 30 days, going by guidance attributed to the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi. You’ll still find sites saying Indians get 60 days visa-free. That describes the earlier arrangement and is now out of date. The festival falls in December, so the 30-day rule is the one that applies to your trip.
Visa-free doesn’t mean paperwork-free, though. Every traveller, visa-exempt Indians included, has to fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours before arrival. It costs nothing and takes a few minutes on the official TDAC portal. Your passport should be valid for at least six months, and officers may ask to see onward travel, your accommodation details and proof that you can fund the stay.
Planning to stay beyond 30 days, or travelling for something other than tourism? Look at the Thai e-Visa portal instead. Our piece on which countries Indians can visit without a visa explains how visa-free, visa-on-arrival and e-Visa entry differ, and Travelistaan’s visa assistance service can go through your documents if you’d like a second pair of eyes.
How to Reach Tomorrowland Thailand from Delhi
Fly Delhi to Bangkok, landing at Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK). It’s around four hours in the air, which is part of why Thailand suits first-time international travellers so well. From the airport you can get to Pattaya by taxi, ride-hailing app or bus. If you’ve bought an official hotel package, daily shuttles to the venue are included.
Try to land a day or two before the festival. You’ll want time to sort transport, and it’s far nicer to see a little of Bangkok or Pattaya without a schedule pressing on you. December is peak season and festival demand will lift prices, so book flights early and choose fares you can change.
Where to Stay for Tomorrowland Thailand 2026
Your realistic choices are Pattaya, the wider Chonburi and Rayong area, or Bangkok. Pattaya is closest and keeps beaches and evening entertainment nearby. Bangkok has far more variety and is easy to pair with sightseeing, but the trip to the venue is longer. Rooms near the site fill early around festival dates, so book with free cancellation wherever you can, especially while your ticket is still unconfirmed.
Budgeting for the Trip
A festival trip has more moving parts than an ordinary holiday, so price each piece on its own: return flights, the festival weekend’s accommodation, the pass itself if you manage to get one, airport and venue transfers, food, and travel insurance. The TDAC is free. Don’t budget from some single “festival trip cost” you’ve seen online. December pricing plus event demand can push flights and hotels well above a normal week in Thailand, so ask for current quotes for your exact dates.
No Ticket? Build a Thailand Trip Around It Anyway
If the waiting list never comes through, you don’t have to give up on Thailand in December. It’s the start of the cool, dry season, which makes it one of the best times of the year to visit, and Pattaya, the beaches of Koh Larn and Bangkok are all worth the flight on their own. One piece of honest advice: if you won’t be attending, the festival weekend is probably the priciest and most crowded time to be in Pattaya. Dates just before or after will give you the same trip for less money and less noise.
Travelistaan’s Thailand packages can be built either way. And if Thailand would be your first trip abroad, our guide to easy first international trips from Delhi sets out what to expect.
Staying Safe
Buy passes only through your official Tomorrowland account or the official exchange, and check that the web address really is tomorrowland.com before typing in any payment details. Be wary of third-party bundles that promise guaranteed tickets, and never send money to someone offering a pass over social media or a messaging app. If a deal for a sold-out event looks too good to be true, it is.
